How
does it work?
We
are
a unique tax resource designed to give the tax professional a quick answer
or opinion
on any federal tax situation. You simply call us, ask your question(s), and get instant answers. You save time and
money, and significantly increase your productivity.
Founded in 1990, we’ve been
providing tax solutions for hundreds of satisfied practitioners for
almost 20 years.
Who
is the service for?
Our service is for the tax
practitioner. Tax Research Services solves tax dilemmas for
over 1000 EAs, CPAs, tax attorneys and other financial professionals.
What
types of questions can you ask?
If
you have a question regarding any facet of Federal taxation, we can
help. We cover individual, corporate, partnership, LLC, retirement,
estate, gift, trust, non-profit, IRS matters… you name it – we have the
answers. If we don’t there is no charge. We even get into some foreign
issues; if the issue is beyond our expertise we’ll be up front and let
you know. We also can fax or mail hard-to-find or prior years’ tax
forms, cases, Revenue Rulings or Procedures and Private Letter Rulings.
Our
service enhances your bottom line!
Every
five minutes of Tax Research Services time is the equivalent of about one hour
of your billable time. You dramatically save time, save money,
increase your productivity, and improve the speed and effectiveness of your service to
your clients.
What
does the service cost?
We
charge by the minute. A typical call takes about five
minutes. Your charge depends on the rate plan that you
select. For your convenience, we offer a choice of rate
plans. Simply select the
rate
plan that
best matches your needs.
Can
I ask my questions by email instead of by phone?
Yes. If you prefer to pose your question via email or fax,
we're happy to help with the same great service. If your account is already set up you can simply
transmit your situation. The service works
the same as our regular phone service; we charge by the minute to read
and reply to your question(s). Your email address will serve as our reference to your account. If you
have a complex set of questions, you may request that we limit our
charges to any number of minutes that you designate. If you limit
our charge time, we will answer as many of your questions as we can in
your specified time.
